Pampas Grass - Why you should buy it from us!

The Pampas Trend

The trend for dried pampas grass was huge throughout 2020 and 2021. People could not get enough of this product, and some were even resorting to travelling to far-flung places in the UK to cut wild pampas as they couldn't get it in the shops.

Pampas is still popular and there has been an influx of imports from all over the world as manufacturers try and get a slice of the economic pie. It has to be said that not all of this pampas grass is equal; the quality is highly variable, and some of it is very poor indeed. There is nothing worse than paying a lot of money for something to create a stunning display for a client, or for yourself, and finding there are bits of fluff shedding from the plumes and filling the air, covering the floor, and getting stuck in your clothing. The next thing you notice is your originally beautiful fluffy pampas grass is looking moth-eaten and slightly bald.

At Atlas Flowers, we pride ourselves on seeking out the highest quality products, and the pampas we stock is a prime example of this. Our extra-grade pampas has long sturdy stems, and voluminous, fluffy plumes - and it doesn't shed like a Labrador retriever in June. This product will last and even stand being reused, so you get more bang for your buck. As part of our pampas collection, there is also a medium grade, which doesn't lack the quality of the extra grade, it just isn't quite as fluffy. Both grades are available in natural, pink, and coral colour options.
