The tropical trend – it’s charmed its way through the world of fashion, interiors, and home accessories for the past couple of years, and it seems we still can’t get enough.
Pantone’s colour of the year 2017, ‘Greenery’, a bright, yellow-green reflects this botanical trend. According to Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute; the colour represents ‘refreshment, rejuvenation, and reconnection with nature'.
We love this – with backgrounds in horticulture and our love of the natural world, this is music to our ears, we very much approve of Greenery.
We’re also seeing tropical leaves and palms used in the most stunning displays, and recently a selection of our tropical range was featured in creative brand stylist Fiona Humberstone’s book – How to Style your Brand. Needless to say, we are as pleased as punch – more about the book in our next post.
Suffice to say, the tropical vibe is still rocking our world. And just for the record, we loved it even before it became trendy. Just saying.
